Today the Peruvian Gastronomy Society, Apega, announced that the Mistura 2017 not only has a new location as we reported in our article “Mistura 2017 moves to Rimac”, but will be postponed until the end of October.

So the Mistura 2017 won’t be held from September 7 to 17 as announced in March of this year, but takes place from October 26 to November 5, 2017.

Apega, the organizer of the event, explained the decision to reschedule this year’s 10th edition of South America’s largest and most important gastronomic fair with the surprising move of Mistura to the Club Revolver in Rimac that was announced just 2 weeks ago.

During today’s press conference it was also disclosed that the ticket pre-sale will start on August 10.

Prices for tickets during the pre-sale period from August 10 to 30 are S/. 13 (adults) and S/ 7 (children) when visiting Mistura Mondays to Wednesdays and S/ 18 (adults) and S/ 8 (children) for visits Thursdays to Sundays.

Regular prices after the pre-sale are S/. 17 (adults) and S/ 9 (children) when visiting Mistura Mondays to Wednesdays and S/ 26 (adults) and S/ 11 (children) for visits Thursdays to Sundays.

In the next few days the places where Mistura tickets can be bought, will be announced.

As infos on the Mistura this year are still quite sketchy, find a summary of what we know so far in our article "Mistura 2017 in Lima" that we regularly update.

    @TinTin total devastation :-(

    we live in USA, and our vacations are programmed well in advance, to coincide with the original september dates of the festival, oh well, we have to find other things to do....it is real bad for us the people living abroad and planning to attend such a magnificent event, now it is thrown out

    Challenges with the Mistura...

    Literally every year the location for the Mistura has changed and this year it is even worse as they also changed the date on such a short notice. We had many comments from our readers that they obviously had made their travel arrangements (flights, accommodation bookings…) well in time and were taken by surprise with the last minute changes. We have been trying to get information from the organizers in time to publish this on Peru Telegraph and were also left in the dark! It’s a shame…
