4.9 magnitude Earthquake recorded in Ica

According to the Geophysical Institute of Peru (IGP) a mild earthquake of 4.9 magnitude with its epicenter located 27 kilometers south of Ica was felt this morning in Ica.

According to the IGP, the quake had an intensity level III in Ica and was measured to originate at a depth of 55 kilometers. Local authorities have not reported damage or injuries so far.
