Great Place to Work®, a globally operating consulting firm based in the US with branches in 58 countries, just recently revealed the results of their latest survey “Best Places to Work for Millennials in Peru 2019”.
In order to reinforce their global mission of contributing to society by helping companies and organizations to build better workplaces for all and recognize the importance of having companies that provide a positive collaborator experience for all, Great Place to Work ® Peru put together the list of Best Places to Work for Millennials in Peru for the third consecutive year.
As more than 50% of employees in Peru today belong to the millennials - also known as Generation Y or the demographic group born between the 1980s and 2000 – it is not only important but crucial to have a closer look at this generation who is the backbone in a world where businesses constantly (have to) reinvent themselves and rethink the concept of work.
“Best Places to Work for Millennials in Peru 2019” is based on the opinion 89,309 millennials surveyed in Lima and provinces working for 128 companies.
According to the study the 20 best places to work in Peru stand out for the favorable perception of millennials on issues relevant to them and the consistency in the implementation of good practices and human resources policies that the companies where they work have arranged for them.
The Best Places to Work for Millennials are characterized by being companies where twice the budget is allocated to training and development, ethics are prioritized, diversity and inclusion promoted, and quality of life improved. How companies manage the challenges of today’s complex business world including digitization, automation, robotics, transparency, work-life balance, mobility and career development, innovation, scrum teams, agility, among others, are also taken into account.
