The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (MAC) in Barranco, Lima presents the “5th Peru Contemporary Art Fair”, probably the biggest and most important contemporary art event in Peru.
This year’s edition not only offers 40 participating galleries from 10 different countries a place to showcase and sell art pieces created by international known artists and new talents, but also offers a space for interchange, creativity and conversation.
A highlight of the PArC Fair each year are the Solo Projects. This year Daniela Pérez, a curator who lives in Mexico City, is in charge. Under the motto “Anyone Anywhere” the Solo Projects PArC 2017 will exhibit a series of proposals and works by 6 artists including Juanli Carrión from Spain (Y Gallery, New York), Laura Belem from Brazil (Athena Contemporânea, Rio de Janeiro), Emilia Azcárate from Venezuela (Henrique Faria, New York), Emanuel Tovar from Mexico (Páramo Galería, Guadalajara), Andrés Marroquín W. from Peru (Revolver, Lima) and Rubela Dávila as well from Peru (Henrique Faria, Buenos Aires).
