Oxapampa, the capital of country music in Peru, once again hosts the Oxapampa Country Fest 2017 in its 7th edition amidst a beautiful natural landscape at the Anibal Ruffner Ranch in Chontabamba, Oxapampa this June.
The 2-day event presents the best live country music of the year in Peru. Participating are Peruvian music groups Último Acorde, Mario Garcia Garcia, Aldry Laguna & Los Forasteros, Toño Lopez & Los Vintash, Francisco Chirinos, and Los Caracoles Suicidas.
They are joined by international artistits such as La Taba, from Mendoza, Argentina, Mexican Jesús Terrazas, from Denver, USA, Don Vigo, directly from the country mecca Nashville, USA and Texas Hammer, from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Next to great country music there will a handicraft and souvenir market and lots of delicious Peruvian food. Additionally the Miss Country Fest 2017 will be elected and the best dressed cowboy and cowgirl awarded.
