Lunahuaná, a small town in the Cañete province just 200 km (about 120 miles) south of Lima, with its all year sunny weather and unique landscape, is a popular destination for all nature lovers and adventure sport enthusiasts for rafting, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, paragliding, quad biking, horse riding and enjoying great food.
This coming weekend now the town hosts once again the International Adventure Sport and Eco-Tourism Fest 2017 organized by the Latin American Association of Sport and Adventure (ALDEA) and What To Do Peru (WTD Peru) and supported by PromPeru, the Regional Government of Lima and the Municipality of Lunahuaná.
Next to different canoeing and rafting competitions, workshops on the Cañete River and the environment, live music, partying and other fun activities, the festival for the first times as well includes a kayaking event. Participating athletes come from France, Germany, Mexico, Venezuela and Peru.
